I rarely leave comments on other blogs, I should though as it is good to be a part of the blogosphere.
Today I read something that pissed me off, it was a blog post about “why black men find it hard to date black women”, I only came across it as I searched WordPress for black men and this was amongst the results.
I left a comment so quickly, that I am sure that I forgot to spell check and made a few typos, but who gives a fuck, I had to say something.
Lately I have noticed a trend for black bloggers both men and women to put each other down, to justify why they date other races.
Bottom line I will always love a black man and can extend this love to black women.
It truly saddens me to read this crap, when sistas and brothers are telling each other to consider other races as they feel that is the best way to get married.
Newsflash I have non-black friends and they are still catching hell in their relationships.
I’m no hypocrite I’ll consider a man who is not black, but so far all of my lovers have been black men.
It was these same sexy ass black men that loved me, wrote me poetry, cooked me dinner, ate my pussy and made love to me with the rain falling.
I won’t lie and say that all of my relationships with black men have been great, but when the times were sweet, nothing can compare to those beautiful moments.
This is why I will never, ever use my blog to berate black men, yep you may argue that my Good Sex, Bad Men post was harsh, but it was more about a particular type of man.
I will always write about black men, because they are the men I have loved. I might write a post about men of other races but that is purely fantasy or phone sex, I have yet to jump over the race fence.
Yes the interracial thing is hot right now and I have considered it myself, just because love is more than a colour.
There is no reason for the black community to be tearing each other part and spreading hate by suggesting that black men and black women are less than, inferior in some way.
What about love?
Perhaps what has happened is that people have given up, they have stopped trying and for every black man or woman who refuses to date black, they are others who will and still do.
